For me, I found out that I only learned to appreciate home when I left it. Coming back home after leaving for some time always hits different. ☺️ Trying to connect the American and Chinese within me, I have learned how to support Chinese on this website! (还没做就怕了) When I think about it, I don’t see why it would make sense to create an entire webpage for a blog if I’m going to put short snippets of whatever pops into my mind that I find interesting (i.e. simply not mundane, but probably still cringe). Twitter exists for a reason. Perhaps, I like to have control over what I put out there. I can at any moment take this site off the internet if I realize I am exposing myself too much. I am afraid that I am putting my home network at risk by self-hosting this website, given my very limited knowledge of networking and computer security. Please don’t hack me! 🥺 Perhaps, if I get bored of current entertainment mediums and want to procrastinate work that I am supposed to do, I will write essays about something that interests me and post that on a new page on this site. Let’s see!
